Current build: hotfix 1.0.015. Latest full patch notes: 1.0.013r. Update before following an older workaround.

Start here

Open the Beginner Guide for the first shift or the Complete Walkthrough for a stage-by-stage route. Both keep repair details separate from story spoilers so you can stop at the level of help you need.

Repair and device answers

Use the Repair Guide for the shared bench loop, then open the Device Database when the ticket names a specific model. Parts, tools, licenses, and known issues have their own focused pages; a device entry never borrows a screw count from similar real hardware.

04

Story and completion

Choices and character pages stay spoiler-light until they need to name an outcome. Open Endings only when you want route requirements, and use Achievements for the saved 50-item checklist and missable branches.

Current build and fixes

Current playable build: hotfix 1.0.015. Version 1.0.013r remains the latest full patch-note reference for save slots, story, Sonic Bath, Mac, marketplace, competition, inventory, and soldering fixes.

What is confirmed in the release build

Yes. Valve’s live compatibility report currently returns category 3 (Verified) for ReStory. It passes built-in controller access, matching Deck glyphs, readable interface text and default-performance checks. The same record displays one warning: an external controller is not supported as the primary player. This is the current result; the Playable result recorded near launch is historical.

The launch week also brought rapid feedback and a public known-issues list. That matters when reading any guide written during the demo: device availability, progression, tools, story routes, and performance notes may have changed. Pages here favor release information and date every research pass so that an old workaround is not presented as permanent truth.
