The Secret Ending is the longest version of ReStory's finale. It extends the Happy Ending route, so one missed customer follow-up can send the run to a different conclusion. First complete the positive routes for Hashimoto, the Eggotchi girl, the lovestruck Student, and the former Gangster. Then continue each story beyond its first successful outcome. The route is not decided by shop wealth, decoration, or a last-minute dialogue button; it is built across those four customer arcs. Keep a save before each device hand-in and do not rush the follow-up conversations.
Secret Ending requirements
First complete the positive routes for Hashimoto, the Eggotchi girl, the lovestruck Student, and the former Gangster. Then continue each story beyond its first successful outcome. The route is not decided by shop wealth, decoration, or a last-minute dialogue button; it is built across those four customer arcs. Keep a save before each device hand-in and do not rush the follow-up conversations.
Hashimoto's hidden follow-up
Offer to repair Hashimoto's Pokia without charging him and ask about the device's history. Continue his later scenes until the special drawer becomes available. The drawer reveals information about the shop's previous owner and is one of the clearest signs that his extended route has registered.

Orders begin at the counter. Read the request, then check the To-Do list before deciding that progress is blocked.
Restore the Eggotchi data
Fixing only the damaged display is not enough for the complete route. Recover the data stored on the Eggotchi and continue until the family-related scene plays. If that scene never appears, return to a save before the device was returned and confirm that the data-restoration objective was completed.
Finish the Student and Gangster stories
Help the Student deliver his confession, then ask the later questions that expose his connection to another customer. Do not report the former Gangster; support his attempt to start over, and help him again when he returns. Both stories need their later callback, not only the first favorable answer.
Secret Ending checklist
Use the observable callbacks rather than guessing from money or shop rating. Before advancing the final story objective, confirm all four extended arcs on the same save.
- Hashimoto's free repair and history dialogue are complete
- The special drawer and previous-owner information appeared
- The Eggotchi data and family scene were restored
- The Student's confession and later connection were resolved
- The Gangster returned and received continued support
- A protected save exists before the final story sequence
The safest Secret Ending save route
Start with an untouched save before each of the four first-stage hand-ins, then create a second generation of saves before their later callbacks. Name them by character and event rather than by day. Do not use the same rotating slot for all four arcs: if a follow-up fails to appear, you need to return to that character's earlier decision without losing the other completed stories. Keep shop progression conservative between checkpoints so a rent warning, speculative donor purchase, or unfinished queue does not complicate the route. Before the finale, preserve one confirmed Happy-path save and one Secret-path save with all four callback signals visible.
Why a Secret Ending attempt fails
The common failure is assuming that a favorable first conversation completed an entire arc. Hashimoto needs the drawer follow-up, the Eggotchi path needs the family scene, the Student needs the later connection, and the Gangster needs continued support after returning. Another mistake is splitting the four outcomes across different saves; the finale evaluates one playthrough. Money, decoration, licenses, and assembly competition results may happen beside the story, but the currently documented route is driven by these customer outcomes. If the ending does not trigger, audit the last observable callback for each character before replaying unrelated shop hours.
